As promised, I have done a fairly rough edit at my GoPro footage to present my London Marathon 2023 video highlights..

GoPro, you were a bad girl leaving me only with still pictures for the most interesting 10K, but I will give you one more chance.

I found the passion for running late in life and started with C25K later in life than most, in my mid 30s with about a year and a half to go before COVID decided to stop our ability to enjoy community events, group runs, parkrun and organised races. But I had caught the bug. I am an eminently average runner - i am slow with my 5K PB just below 25mins, but i enjoy it immensely and it keeps me sane. I enjoy the routine, I enjoy the way improvements can be quantified and tracked, I enjoy the challenge and competition it can unleash and how, as a middle of the pack runner, it is mostly against myself.
