One of the main parkrun challenges is the parkrun alphabet challenge or alphabeteer.
What is it? Simple.
The parkrun Alphabet Challenge involves completing a parkrun whose name begins with each letter of the alphabet (excluding X, since no parkrun starts with this letter yet). Whether you’re running, jogging, or walking, the goal is to visit different parkruns and collect as many letters as possible.
It’s fun and somewhat challenging since some letters are easier to get than others. On 22/1/24 I have completed my first alphabet!
However, as often with parkrun challenges, you can always find something more to strive for.

I completed my first alphabet in December 2024 at Victoria Dock. It took a while, since it was also my 174th event and my 100th different event. I don’t rush challenges, getting them as they come is more fun
